As we move into the world’s ‘new normal’, we have been closely following government advice on how to best continue operating our usual business activities. Over the past 2 months during the UK’s lock down, we’ve continued to provide remote editing services to our clients but we’ve really missing working directly with you all! We have now had enough time to evaluate the risks and come up with a number of steps to allow us to roll out more of our services once again. Below are some of the measures we have put in place in order for us to continue producing high quality video content whilst keeping everyone safe.

Remote working

Until further notice, our office remains closed. We have successfully deployed mechanisms to work from home efficiently, despite the enormous amounts of data we handle as a video production company.

Remote Productions

As well as remote editing, we’re also working with a number of clients to help them produce their own content to the highest standard possible. This involves a number of services including support in purchasing / hiring equipment, remote direction sessions and self-shooting guides.

Socially Distant On-Site Production

We are happy to announce that we are now in a position to restart visiting locations to produce video content when absolutely necessary (ie, the above steps can’t be carried out). We have taken our clip on lapel mics out of service for the time being (we’re sorry, no more stories about which famous person has previously worn your microphone!). Instead, we’re using boom mics and longer lenses for interviews and all equipment is being cleaned between locations.

We have also limited productions to just two crew members who will both travel to the location separately. Crew on site will have access to hand sanitiser to use throughout the production, as well as face coverings if requested.

Remote Live Streaming

Whilst the live streaming of events from venues isn’t always practical at the moment, we can remotely add numerous contributors from their respective homes to a live stream for events such as Q&As. Using industry standard live streaming software, we can add graphics, music, videos etc to help produce a professional looking live stream for your viewers.

We can also stream pre-recorded content to your social media channels ‘as-live’, should you want to increase post engagement.

We really hope to see you all again soon. If you have any questions regarding these changes to our services, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. In the meantime, stay safe!
