Cadent, who are responsible for much of the country’s gas networks got in touch with us about producing some video content for use at this annual safety roadshow. The video content was based around real stories from engineers and focussed on how injuries had been prevented by following Cadent’s health and safety procedures.
Cadent came to us with two stories and we suggested that we produce two separate films so that we could present them in slightly different ways. We wanted them to be similar so that they complemented each other but decided that one would be more dramatic and hard hitting, focussing on the ‘what if?’s and the second one to be more of a celebration of success.
We agreed that the more dramatic one would be filmed in our studio space, on black with a few reconstructed cutaways shot on site to illustrate the story. The second film was filmed on location and was more fully reconstructed in a property we rented for the production.
Both films were shown at the safety roadshow at the end of July to staff members from all over the country.
