Crosscut Media’s March Wrapped

It’s been a month full of creativity, collaboration, and celebration.

Birmingham Hippodrome: Showcasing New Musicals

We’re thrilled to be working with the Birmingham Hippodrome on an exciting documentary project that will be part of their New Musicals Showcase in March 2025. The showcase will highlight a range of new musical works, and we’re creating introductory videos to introduce the talented writing teams behind these productions. These videos will offer a unique behind-the-scenes look at the creative processes of the teams and provide an exciting preview of the works they’re developing.

With a 3-camera setup, cine lenses, and professional lighting, we’re ensuring that these videos have the cinematic feel they deserve.

ArtReach: Impact Creatives Network Project

We’re also proud to be filming for ArtReach’s Impact Creatives Network project. This initiative focuses on supporting and showcasing the work of creative individuals and organisations that are making a difference in the community. We’re filming with two cameras for stunning B-roll shots, as well as capturing high-frame-rate (100fps) slow-motion footage to add a unique, artistic touch to the project. You can learn more about ArtReach’s work and their important impact by visiting their site, where more details about the project are available.

LOROS : STOMP Round Leicester

As a part of LOROS’ 40th anniversary, they have launched the Stomp Round Leicester campaign, a vibrant and exciting public art trail featuring beautifully decorated elephant sculptures. These artworks will be scattered throughout Leicester, raising awareness and funds for the incredible work LOROS does in providing hospice care.

We’re proud to be the official video partner for the campaign, and will be working closely with LOROS to capture the journey of these elephants, the talented artists behind the designs, and the local community coming together to support this initiative.

With the elephants now in the studio, the journey of STOMP is just beginning. We’re excited to continue documenting the process and sharing the stories of those involved. As always, we’re honored to be part of such an important initiative and proud to be supporting LOROS as they mark 40 years of providing exceptional care to those in need.

Murder She Didn’t Write – Duchess Theatre, London

We were invited to film Vox Pops for the UK tour of Murder She Didn’t Write, which made its debut in London’s West End at the Duchess Theatre. Ahead of filming the trailer later in the tour, we had the chance to watch the show and experience the excitement firsthand. After the performance, we interviewed audience members and invited guests, capturing their reactions and insights. We also immersed ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere at the theatre, documenting the buzz as people arrived for the show.

Bamboozle : Promotional Video

Bamboozle is a pioneering theatre company dedicated to delivering accessible and inclusive theatre experiences, both across the UK and internationally. Their interactive projects cater to children, young people, and their families, creating engaging and educational performances that bring communities together. We’re currently filming a promotional video to help Bamboozle advertise their services and raise awareness of the incredible work they do.

During the recent shoot, we had the opportunity to interview Sue Pyecroft and Christopher Davies at Bamboozle’s head office and allotments. They shared the history of Bamboozle, the many opportunities it offers young people, and how the company has carved out a unique position within the theatre and arts world. Along with the interviews, we also captured dynamic B-roll footage, showcasing the energy and passion that makes Bamboozle’s work so impactful.
