As we step into the new year, we’re filled with excitement and anticipation for the opportunities and projects ahead. 2025 promises to be a year of creativity, collaboration, and growth, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to continue working with our incredible clients. From innovative video productions to behind-the-scenes content and everything in between, we look forward to bringing fresh ideas to life and delivering exceptional work. Here’s a glimpse at some of the exciting projects we’ve been working on recently—and what’s to come!
We’ve been working on two distinct video productions around VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology. The first video is aimed at domestic users, providing a clear and simple explanation of how VOIP can enhance communication in their homes. With this video, we aim to make VOIP accessible to everyday consumers who may not be familiar with the technology but are looking for cost-effective and efficient solutions for their home phone systems.
The second video takes a more instructional approach, guiding viewers step-by-step through the process of setting up their own VOIP system. Whether you’re looking to install it yourself or simply want to understand how it works, this video has got you covered. For this shoot, we used a studio and auto cue system to bring this to life.
We’re thrilled to be working with the Birmingham Hippodrome on an exciting documentary project that will be part of their New Musicals Showcase in March 2025. The showcase will highlight a range of new musical works, and we’re creating introductory videos to introduce the talented writing teams behind these productions. These videos will offer a unique behind-the-scenes look at the creative processes of the teams and provide an exciting preview of the works they’re developing. With a 3-camera setup, cine lenses, and professional lighting, we’re ensuring that these videos have the cinematic feel they deserve.
Crosscut Media is also proud to be filming for ArtReach’s Impact Creatives Network project. This initiative focuses on supporting and showcasing the work of creative individuals and organisations that are making a difference in the community. We’re filming with two cameras for stunning B-roll shots, as well as capturing high-frame-rate (100fps) slow-motion footage to add a unique, artistic touch to the project. You can learn more about ArtReach’s work and their important impact by visiting their site, where more details about the project are available.
We’re gearing up for the Leicester Comedy Festival, and our team is getting involved in creating some social-first content featuring the hilarious comedians performing in the preview show at De Montfort Hall. This marks the 10th year of our involvement with the festival, and we’ve been busy filming fun and engaging clips with comedians, incorporating trending games (like “Squid Game”) into the mix for a bit of added fun.
LeicsComedyFest – Social Content
As part of our festival content, we’re also repurposing retro material featuring legends such as Katherine Ryan and Stuart Lee. These engaging, timeless clips will be re-shared across social platforms, bringing back some of the festival’s best moments while also highlighting new talent. Be sure to follow our social channels for sneak peeks, exclusive content, and festival updates!
