On the 27th and 28th of March, we head to Venture Theatre, Ashby-de-la-Zouch to live stream 2021’s Festival of the Artisan. The festival, which celebrates the vision of the Artisan Ideal: ​authenticity, artistry, connection and inspiration usually takes place with a live audience, but was live streamed this year with the support of Arts Council England and several sponsors.

The live stream was a simulcast; streaming to Facebook, Youtube and to the festival’s website. We used just two cameras on this stream and so to achieve a more dynamic output, our second camera roamed around the space picking up different shots during the performances.

The festival was broken up into 3X 3.5 hour streams featuring a mixture of live performances from the theatre and pre-recorded content.
