Put on your red shoes and dance the blues…

Let’s Dance International Frontiers is an annual international dance festival that happens every year in Leicester. Showcasing high quality dance that celebrates diversity and intersectional identities, in over 10 years LDIF has welcomed over 266 artists and companies from over 45 countries. This year due to COVID restrictions, the whole festival was live streamed via the internet.

Working with the charity behind the festival, Serendipity, we rehearsed the each dance, before filming the whole festival from 3 camera angles, and then live streamed via Serendipity’s website behind the paywall. With the fantastic lighting and sound team from Curve Theatre and Serendipity the end result looks very special, with each of the performances looking unique.

It was fantastic to see what each of the different dance companies involved brought to the stage. We’d like to thank Serendipity, Black British Dance Platform, Body of People Jazz Theatre Company and Curve Theatre for their amazing work to produce this inspiring live event.
