What can be live streamed?

Today’s video is all about what can be live streamed. That’s probably the wrong way to phrase the question – it’s not about what ‘can’ be live streamed, it’s about what ‘should’ be live streamed. Just like every other video tool, choosing the correct time to use live streaming is half the battle.

You wouldn’t necessarily live stream an internal communications update from the CEO to all staff – there’s just no need when a normal video could have the same impact. You would however stream a conference or a large event where you’d like additional people to engage online. It might be a staff induction event where staff are dotted around the country, it might be an awards ceremony where there were limited places in the room but you’d like everyone to see it.

Even events that need to be private can be live streamed and put behind a password or even a paywall if you’d like to monetise the event online.

There are so many options for live streaming – awards ceremonies, meetings, conferences, town hall events, live performances, festivals, the list goes on. If you’d like some advice about live streaming, feel free to get in touch.
