Why choose bespoke animation?

Here at Crosscut, we provide bespoke animation services. Note the word bespoke. These are not cookie cutter animations with your logo stuck on, they are made to measure animations, drawn to your exact specifications.

So what makes that such a good idea? Well by using bespoke animation you can produce imagery your viewers can relate to such as recognisable buildings, websites and products. That’s something you can’t do with templates. By seeing things your viewers relate to, they’re instantly more likely to be engaged when compared to them watching a generic animation. 

Then there’s the issue with competitors using the same template. The way a lot of these templated animations work is they have a general framework upon which you can add your brand colours and some custom content, however when you put two side by side, they are unmistakably similar. Many templates are based on ‘themes’ so for instance if you’re a software company, you’ll use the ‘software company’ theme. But guess what? So is every other software company using this particular animation website. The result – you have a competitor using exactly the same promotional tool. Not a good look.
